Stefano Lord-Medrano

Welcome to my website! I am a fifth-year Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. My research interests lie in macroeconomics and international finance, with a focus on financial frictions and sovereign risk.

Prior to my doctoral studies, I worked as a financial researcher in the Financial Stability Division at the Bank of Mexico and earned a Master’s degree in Economic Theory from ITAM.
